Description: Polar Instruments Si9000 software enables designers to calculate frequency-dependent impedance and losses to ensure board performance on the first try. Its intuitive interface provides designers with a graphical representation of transmission line characteristics as a function of frequency. Calculated data can be exported as a table to other programs for analysis. Frequency-dependent parameters such as impedance, conductor and dielectric losses, gain reduction, inductance, capacitance, resistance, conductivity, and layer thickness are also graphically displayed. Si9000 can be used in conjunction with Speedstack software for the creation and assembly of multilayer boards.
