Season 1, Episode 09 –
Vehicle recovery specialist Richard is on the trail of a caravan stolen during a late-night raid on a site in Nottingham. But the thieves have hidden it well, and Richard is struggling to find it before a police rural crime team send up a drone to give him a bird’s eye view of the area. Around 4,000 caravans and motorhomes are stolen every year. Nicola, from Stourbridge in the West Midlands, describes how thieves stole her caravan, not knowing it was fitted with a tracking device. A police helicopter was deployed, and the stolen van was tracked as it travelled up the M6 for about 30 miles. Eventually, it was recovered in Cheshire. Nicola is convinced that, without the tracker, she would never have seen it again. Meanwhile, tracker Joe is also in the West Midlands, closing in on a stolen Range Rover. He finds it in a workshop, where it’s in the process of being dismantled for parts. A suspect is arrested, but the car is a total write-off.

Season 1, Episode 07 –
In Felixstowe, ports intelligence officer Adam and his colleagues intercept hundreds of stolen vehicles before they are smuggled out of the country. Today, they find a suspect shipping container crammed with stolen cars. One of the vehicles, a Toyota RAV4, is hoisted up at the back of the container and has to be removed carefully. It looks like a well-loved family car with a child seat and several children’s toys, including a teddy bear, on the back seat. Adam and his team contact the owners so the children can be reunited with their toys. Successes like this help motivate them in the fight against organised car crime. There is also shocking footage of thieves stealing another family car – a Range Rover – from a driveway in Essex. It takes them less than a minute to break in using a reprogrammed key. The car is fitted with a tracker, but the signal goes dead, and the car disappears without trace. It is later found at Tilbury Docks, wedged inside a shipping container. Meanwhile, tracker Richard is searching for a heavy-duty roller stolen from a construction site in Bristol. The roller is fitted with a tiny tracker, and after a lengthy search, Richard finds it hidden inside a van.
